Meet our doctor:
Dr. Carolyn Van was born in Houma, Louisiana and grew up in Lake Charles, LA. She moved to Baton Rouge for undergraduate schooling and received her Bachelor of Science from Louisiana State University, she then moved to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida to finish graduate school. She received her Doctorate of Optometry from Nova Southeastern University. She is currently practicing in Lafayette, LA.
Dr. Van’s specialties include fitting all types of contact lenses, treating ocular surface/corneal disease; and managing medical conditions like diabetes, hypertension, cataracts, glaucoma, and many others. She is a proud member of the American Optometric Association, Optometric Association of Louisiana, and Lafayette Optometric Society.
Outside of work, Dr. Van enjoys traveling, spending time with family, and trying new foods.
